| Description |
English: The 2022 Festival of the Unexceptional held at Grimsthorpe Castle in Lincolnshire attracted 1200 family cars from the 1960s, 70s, 80s and 90s - largely unexceptional marques that have long since disappeared from Britain's roads.
The top 50 chosen by the judges were entered into the concours de l'Ordinaire and that included my 1987 Austin Maestro mail van. The winner this year was a 3-door Astra Merit - driven down from Edinburgh - and the runner-up was an immaculate Skoda Estelle - the original "Skoda Skip"! |
